How Will I Know If I Am Heading for Credit Trouble? (1268)

Are you heading for credit trouble? Some early warning signs of potential credit debt trouble include:

- Struggling to make ends meet every month.

- Relying heavily on extra income to help buy essentials.

- Finding it harder and harder to save.

- Being without an adequate emergency fund.

- Failing to pay bills on time.

- Paying only the minimum due on credit cards. Charge accounts expect full payment!

- Defaulting on a payment or rent.

- Committing an anticipated pay raise in advance to paying debts.

- Losing track of the total amount you owe.

- Taking out a consolidation loan.

- Using the overdraft loan feature of your checking account frequently.

- Having the total of your debts exceed the total of your assets.

If one or more of these situations apply, take positive action to stop a potential problem early!
